Fee Schedule

Fees are set each year and are payable by term or by negotiation with the college. The college offers Direct Debit facilities.

Encounter Lutheran College receives grants from both the Federal and State Governments to help cover the running cost of the college. Fees are necessary to supplement government grants in order to provide the total funds required to operate.

Schedule College Fees for 2012 (per year)

Reception – Year 7

Base tuition fees:

R-5 - $2,457

6-7 - $2,503

Y8 - $3,650

This includes class excursions, class consumables (cooking, art and craft), visiting performances, swimming lessons R-4, Life Ed Van, NAPLAN testing, SAPSASA activities and concert performances.

Discounts A 4% discount applies if fees are paid annually (must be paid before end of the second week of the school year).

Generous discounts apply for siblings as follows:

  • 20% reduction for the first sibling in attendance at the school,
  • 30% reduction for the second sibling,
  • 40% reduction for the third sibling.
Stationery Component The stationery component (eg. student pens, textas, books, rulers, scissors etc) will be ordered in separate student packs and charged to parents in Term 1 of each year. This cost will vary according to the year level. Stationery should last for the year. If replacement items are needed, this will be parents responsibility.
Building Fund Voluntary Contribution Recommended donation of $50 per term ($200 p.a.) fully tax deductible, this fund enables the school to plan building programs for the benefit of all students.
Extras Camp fees Year 2 – 7
(Price varies for each year level and remain at parent cost

Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Levy – To enable the school to maintain Information Technology and computers at a high level, and maintain planned replacement of computers in the IT room and classrooms, and ICT levy of $40 per term per student will be payable.

Fee Concessions: Available according to need, following application and provision of appropriate data

Australian Government Education Tax Refund: 50% refundable tax offset p.a. for up to $750 / child in primary school (i.e. refund of up to $375/child/year). Stationery costs e.g. pens, textas, books, rulers, scissors etc. which will be at parent cost, may be claimed under this scheme.
